I had a chance to talk with Cary Ann Fuller one of the faces behind this event. From talking to her I learned that the State Fair was looking for an event to add and decided that a beer festival might be the answer (when is a beer festival not the answer). It looks as though the members of the Tennessee Brewer’s Guild will be there, along with some new breweries that are looking to open soon. These breweries include Tennessee Brew Works, Honk Tonk and Black Abbey as some are about to open so get there and get an early taste of these great beers.
There will be two types of tickets sold for this event. The general administration tickets cost $40 and the VIP is $75. The VIP tickets holders will be able to go into the festival an hour early and have one on one time with the brewers. They will also have a chance to try some new beer that may not be on during the regular beer festival. The brewers will be on hand during the entire festival so you will be able to have all your questions answered by the actually beer makers.
There are still tickets available but they are going fast. So go ahead and get your tickets for the September 6th event and start your weekend off right. As always you can follow me on Twitter and Untappd @princessofhops.
