In some of our past Tech Reviews, we’ve covered great iPhone and Android apps that can be extremely valuable resources for people who are either moving or getting prepared to move. However, before you even begin to ready yourself for your move, you have to first find a new place to live. The process of finding a new house or apartment to rent or buy can sometimes be even more tedious and frustrating as the actual moving process.
The Zillow Real Estate app, designed by Zillow.com, is an app for both the iPhone and iPad, as well as Android devices, that allows you to search for all of the apartment and home listings in your area. Not looking to move anywhere close to where your current home is? That’s okay too, as you can search for homes and apartments anywhere in the U.S.
Not only that, but the Zillow Real Estate app will tell you the “Zestimate” values of any home you find, as well as the Rent Zestimates of apartments by providing an estimated monthly rental price. The listings can be filtered by several different categories including the price range, the number of bedrooms and the number of bathrooms, and you can even search for homes and apartments using a specific target price.
The app gives you the option to save certain searches and homes that you may find appealing, and you can also email your findings to friends or family. The app is set up with an incredibly easy-to-use design and user-friendly interface and you can swipe through real estate listings easily with just the touch of a finger.
Best of all, the app is free to download, so if you’re trying to save up for that new house or apartment, you won’t have to break the bank looking for one.
