Tech Review continues this week with another installment in our series of reviews for iPhone apps that are designed to make your life a little bit easier when you’re getting ready to move. This week, we focus on an app called Move Planner.
Move Planner is an app that follows a similar pattern to other moving organizer apps that we’ve reviewed in past weeks, especially last week’s MyMove app. One of the things that distinguishes Move Planner from other similar apps of its kind is the pre-populated moving task checklist that you can find within the app. What this means is, instead of creating your own custom checklist and having to input all of the tasks you need to get done during your move, Move Planner has already gone ahead and done the work for you, creating a list of up to 100 different moving-related tasks for you to complete. All you have to do is add these tasks to your list as needed. Plus, if there are any that are missing from the list, you can add your own items and customize the list however you like it.
In addition, Move Planner allows you to delegate certain tasks on your moving checklist to different people, enabling you to easily divide up all of the hard work that comes with moving. This is a valuable resource to have when it comes to deciding who should do what job and it should save you a lot of time in the long run.
Overall, the Move Planner app has a very user-friendly interface, although it may appear to be somewhat basic and bare bones at first glance. It won’t give you anything too flashy and certainly won’t blow you out of the water, but at only $1.99 it is well worth it and should help you stay organized during your next move.
