Tasty treats at Café Buongiorno’s in Raleigh, NC

Café Buongiorno’s in Raleigh, North Carolina has quite a selection of traditional Italian cookies including crocatini, “S” cookies, chocolate lace, Italian wedding cookies and sesame cookies. All cookies are homemade in the café. Cookies are sold by the piece or by the pound, just in case you need a platter or two.

The crocatini is very dry and crumbly, as it should be. Chocolate meringue perfectly showcases whole hazelnuts in a very crunchy morsel.

If you like biscotti, try the “S” cookies. It has a perfect texture for absorbing espresso or latte.

This examiner’s favorite cookie is the sesame cookie. The flavor of sesame seeds really comes through in this treat.

If you love tiramisu, you will love the tiramisu gelato served up at Café Buongiorno's. It is melt in your mouth sweet, scrumptious and better than ice cream. Their raspberry gelato is a wonderful blend with raspberry seeds enhancing its texture.
