Tarina Tarantino is a world renown designer, and her collection of cosmetics is truly marvelous. The Tarina Tarantino Beauty collection garnered rave reviews from the moment that it launched with Sephora. The brand is no longer available at the line of stores. Fans are eagerly anticipating the launch this week, and are looking forward to purchasing products once again.

Products from the collection of cosmetics were reviewed: a Conditioning Lip Sheen, a Doll Skin Cheek blush, and the Eye Dream Hyperlight. Each product was outstanding, and is certain to be a welcomed addition to the collections of many consumers.
The first product reviewed is a Conditioning Lip Sheen in the shade Showroom. The product retails for $22, and can is a fan favorite. Tarantino has said of the lipstick:
“I have always dreamed of having a lipstick that is sheer with just the right amount of pigment payoff. I also wanted one with staying power that would not dry out my lips. I had given up the search, but now I have created the ultimate lipstick for busy girls like me who don’t have time for constant reapplying. My lip sheen formula provides a perfect amount of long wearing color and has conditioning ingredients that give your lips the love they need and keeps them hydrated and happy.”
Showroom is a beautiful pink shade. The product is paraben free, lightweight, and has medium coverage and shine. This is the perfect lip product for those who want a nice flush of color, but who also want a natural look as well. Use a light hand for a sheer application, or you can build on the color for a more pigmented look. The formula contains ultra lightweight pigments that will allow the product to stay placed for several hours after application. There is no waxy odor or taste, due to the special formulation of the ingredients. The lipsticks contain Vitamin E (hydration, antioxidant, free radical scavenger, and natural cellular renewal ingredient). The formula will not dry one’s lips. The product applies smoothly and easily, and this particular shade compliments many skin tones.
One shade of the Dollskin Cheek blush was reviewed in Charm (medium rose). The product retails for $25, and paraben free. There is a wonderful variety of shades that will look beautiful on every skin tone. Other shades include Carved Rose (cool vivid pink), Feather (shimmering peach), Neapolitan Lane (muted pink beige), and Parasol (shimmering bright pink coral). Tarantino said of the product:
“I love blush and feel that no makeup look is complete without it. As a makeup artist I was constantly searching for the perfect range of blush colors to give cheeks a sweet romantic flush, and usually had to mix several to create the effect I wanted. Now I have created the perfect collection of complimentary blush shades for every skin tone. The highly pigmented formulation means a little goes a long way and provides a long wearing finish.”
The blushes are finely milled, and provide excellent pigmentation and color payoff. The formula contains micronized powders (high-definition) allowing for the easy blending of the product. The blush will not crease or fade. The product can be seen on the cheeks hours after application. One can achieve a very natural look or a highly pigmented look. The blush shades will compliment all skin tones, and various looks can be achieved depending on the desired outcome. According to Tarantino, a “dolly cheek” look can be attained by concentrating the blush on the apples of the cheek. Whereas a “disco cheek” focuses the blush on the cheekbones, leaving the apples more neutral.
The final product reviewed from the line is the Eye Dream Hyperlight. Which retails for $22. Tarantino has said of the Eye Dream Hyperlight:
“Eye Dream Hyperlight is my magic wand; like a liquid spotlight. Hyperlight luminizes and brightens under eyes and along cheek bones for an instant highlight and lit-from-within glow.”
The product is only available in one shade. It is free of parabens and fragrances. It contains Squalane (skin hydration), Glycerin (skin moisture), and Shea Butter (moisture and protection). It can be worn over or under one’s concealer. It can also be used as a highlighter, and will truly brighten one’s look. It is perfect for most skin types. The product will reduce the appearance of dark circles and discolorations around the eye area. It has a wonderful consistency, and is not too thick, and blends like a dream. The product features a blendable, crease-free formulation. The packaging is a sleek gunmetal click pen which also includes a synthetic brush at the end. This allows for precise application, and it can be easily blended. This is a truly must-have product for all.
