Designer Skin is one of my favorite tanning lotion brands. As one of the greatest tanning brands in the world today, they are all innovating new indoor tanning lotions. Recently, I had the chance to try one of their latest, Elusive. So, what did I think?
When I first tried this sample, I was getting ready to head into the stand-up tanning system. Not only did this Designer Skin addition keep my skin hydrated, but it produced a color payoff that was quite natural looking after. Using breakthrough 50x bronzer technology, this tanning lotion proves to have one of the best formulas around and one of the best I have used in a long time.
The TanEntice Elixir technology really did increase my skin's Melanin production, as I noticed a difference virtually instantaneously. The ChronoReset Anti-Aging Synchronization really does improve your skin's function, which I have to say is quite impressive.
I loved that this product did not dry out my skin, as it increased my skin's circulation and improved my skin's overall texture and tone.
Most tanning lotions with bronzers tend to stain your clothing (bras in particular). Luckily for me, that did not happen when using this tanning lotion. I love the fact that it did not stain my clothing.
This tanning lotion contains Designer Skin's Time Release fragrance which is best described as a Dewy Ozonic Lily scent. At first, I wasn't a fan of the fragrance because it's almost a little too musky floral for me, however; it started to grow on me.
This Designer Skin addition is not only free of Hemp, but Aloe too. It is also gluten-free.
No animals were harmed in the creation of this product, as this product was NOT tested in animals.
Elusive by Designer Skin has quite a few ingredients. Some of them include: Safflower Oil, Chicory Extract, Black Walnut Shell Extract, Melanin, Tyrosine, Carrot Extract, Shea Butter, and more. If you are allergic to any of these ingredients, I would not recommend this tanning lotion.
If you love fruity notes (whether peach or berry, etc.) or are into warm notes (whether vanilla or cocoa, etc.) or even a creamy floral (vanilla rose, etc.) I don't think you will like the scent of this product, as it is more of a robust musky floral.
This tanning lotion is $145 for a full-size and $20.25 for a sample. If you are not willing to spend this type of money on a tanning lotion, than I don't think you will be interested in this product.
Elusive by Designer Skin is available at Designer Skin or your nearest Designer Skin retailer for $145. Would I buy this lotion? No, simply because of the fragrance. As much as I tried to love it, it just wasn't for me. Would I recommend it to a friend? It would depend on how much they would want to spend, as it would depend on what they want in a fragrance. I would only recommend it to those who enjoy musky notes and are willing to spend over $100 on an indoor tanning lotion.
