TIME FOR A CHANGE
“Time for a Change Ministries” celebrated their 3rd Annual Banquet on June 7th 2014 at 5 pm at the First United Church of Christ on 717 Clinton Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06604. The guest speaker was Apostle Michael D. Densmore.
“Time for a Change Ministries” is located on 880-886 Hancock Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06605. It is a non-profit Christian Rehabilitation Center that offers its’ services to young men troubled by drugs, alcohol, and various personal problems. The purpose of the ministry is to bring the drug addict and the alcoholic to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ stimulating growth into a new way of life. One scripture they stand on is “There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven,” (Ecclesiastes 3:1).
Jeffrey Reynolds is the founder and director of Time for a Change Min., and is also a Deacon at Community Temple in Norwalk, CT under Apostle Densmore. He and his wife Mrs. Bernadette Reynolds have been doing an great work for the Lord. The banquet was fun-filled, joyous, celebratory, and many showed to honor the Lord plus to give credit to this blessed couple for giving of themselves to help make someone else’s life healthy, productive, and better in a whole. It’s a tough work to take in so many men in need of recovery I’m sure, but the Reynolds are pushing towards their 4th year and with the Lord by their side and support from their own church they’ve been making a great impact.
The banquet was emceed by James Wilson, and those on the program included: Bernadette Reynolds, Rob Lucy, Pastor Jonathon Welfare, Evangelist Aquinta Bradley, Lou Holiday, Deacon Reynolds, Simone Brown, and Apostle Michael Densmore who gave an awesome word in regards to coming back to the Lord to say thank you for your healing and the blessing you’ve received.
I had so much fun laughing with my good friend, Sheila McCoy, seeing old friends, enjoying the delicious meal that evening along with the message, and music. It was a blessed time. Thank you Deacon Reynolds for all your assistance in having the 3 men to come out and help me set up the hall for my ministry on the 6/28; special thanks to the men who came, Jerry, CJ, and the other man who did an awesome job. I appreciate you.
