Being that yesterday was national taco day there was a restaurant on Massachusetts Street that was selling $1 tacos all day long. The best part being that the taco place was Fuzzy’s Taco Shop; a restaurant praised around Lawrence for portion size and hours of operation.
Normally a taco at Fuzzy’s will set you back $2 and are worth every penny of that when you consider the available options. Ranging from simple ground beef tacos to tempura battered Tilapia, with many tasty options in between just the taco portion of the menu is staggering; available in hard or soft shell and filled to maximum capacity.
The menu is vast and can be overwhelming at first glance while standing in line waiting to order, so here are two tacos that are jam-packed with taste. First is the Shredded Spicy Pork Baja Taco which comes loaded with garlic sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, cilantro and feta cheese. Second is the Chorizo, Potato, Egg and Cheese Taco, and since breakfast is served all day you won’t need to wake up early to try it.
During the week Fuzzy’s is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., but its weekend is longer than most. Starting on Thursday and lasting through Saturday Fuzzy’s keeps its doors open until 3 a.m. making it the ultimate late-night snack shop. Whether you and some friends want to split a massive plate of nachos or you just want so chips and dip you are covered as long as you can make it to 11th and Mass before it is too late.
