Hey everyone it’s March Alien Encounter month on the Science Channel. A series of out of this world investigative programs which pushes the boundaries of science fiction into science fact. All during the month of March , Planetary scientists and Astrobiologists will examine and offer their own perspective whether or not life exist outside our solar system or beyond. This Tuesday, March 5th, at 10 PM. Eastern time, the Science Channel will premiere it’s 1st of a 4 part series of thought provocative episodes. The first one will air tonight titled, “Alien Encounters: The Invasion.” The program will explore what if someone, after years of radio communications from Earth to outer space, was finally answered and came for a visit. Would they be friend or foe? Then on March 12th at 10 PM. on the Science Channel, the conclusion of Alien Encounters: The Offspring. Later on during the month, a two part episode looks at the possibility of other life forms existing in outer space. Aliens: The Definitive Guide will premiere on March 19th and the 26th at 10 PM.
The Science Channel has made wonderful and thought provocative episodes that challenges our imaginations. As we continue to explore the cosmos from the friendly confines of Earth, the debate continues whether life forms exist out there. After watching these programs, one decision becomes clear. If our Earth is the only planet to sustain life, then our universe is nothing more than empty space. Carl Sagan once quoted, ”Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were.
