Sweet Sally’s Bakeshop has just introduced a new fall lineup of tasty goods, including pumpkin cranberry cake and pumpkin spice scones. If you haven’t had a Sweet Sally’s treat yet, you don’t know what you are missing.
The pumpkin cranberry cake disappeared almost as fast as we opened it. The rich cake it made with sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, milk, pumpkin puree, cranberries, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt for a deliciously sweet cake. We couldn’t get enough of the crumble topping. The pumpkin spice scones were just as delicious also made with nutmeg, raisins and cinnamon for a perfect fall afternoon snack.
All of the products here are baked using all-natural ingredients and they even have a gluten free menu. The menu focuses on Jewish pastries and New York specialties such as chocolate rugelach, black and white cookies, lemon bars and big apple crackle (a crunchy combination of matzoh topped with bittersweet chocolate, buttery caramel and toasted almonds).
Whether you are looking for bars and brownies or cakes and cookies, they seem to have something for everyone’s favorite sweet craving. To honor October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Sweet Sally’s has introduced two new items – pink and white cookies along with a pink and chocolate layer cake.
The bake shop is always creating seasonal treats so be sure to check back often for some of your favorite baked goods. For more information, visit www.sweetsallys.com.
