Event: Sunday for Sendai..A Benefit For Japan was held on March 20th at Sixty Sundaes in Port St Lucie, Fl.
After hearing so much about this establishment, we had to check them out and what better time to check them out then at a fundraiser for the unfortunate victims of the tsunami in Japan. Michael and Cheri extended their hearts in an effort to help people whose lives will be forever altered.
There was live music all day from local musicians Rebel Freeman, Jack Maravell, Caitlin Larkin, Jaimee Smith, Joe Knox and Alice April. They had a barbeque complete with ice cold beer and homemade ice cream! Customers spilled out onto the sidewalk in front to enjoy themselves at either the benches or tables provided. It turned out to be a great day for this event. Even Mayor Faiella stopped to show her support of this event!
Sixty Sundaes is a unique little place tucked into the plaza at the corner of Gatlin and Port St Lucie Blvd. It’s the only place that I can think of that you can enjoy an afternoon of ice cream with the family and an evening of drinks and live music with friends. Stop by and say hi to Cheri and Michael!
