Sunday brunch at 4th & Swift

Brunch is so exciting that it sometimes seems eternal for Sunday's to arrive, days in advance thoughts of yummy mimosas, eggs benny and shrimp and grits cross the minds of many. Recently I had the pleasure of dinning at 4th and Swift. Love the name the ambiance and the menu, yes everything is great.

Located in the Old Fourth Ward district the space is gorgeous, from the exposed brick walls, ceilings and simplistic architecture. It's the cutest spot for a date night or an amazing Sunday brunch.

The staff is very friendly, informative and attentive. There is a semi private area near the back of the restaurant with a glass wall, which allows a peak into the kitchen. The starters include house made donuts, biscuits, muffins and cinnamon rolls. Freshly made donuts were paired with house made raspberry preserves and sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon.

The main dishes ranged from cornmeal pancakes with blackberry syrup and vanilla creme to a savory shrimp and grits dish. A big hit on the menu was the red flannel hash; braised brisket, fried egg and fingerling potatoes. If not already one of the best places for brunch in Atlanta 4th and Swift is surely on it's way. What are you waiting for? Go dine already.
