Jessica: “The reason that you’re here this early this morning is that it's Mike Ross’ first day back.”
“Exposure” is the August 6 episode of “Suits.” Reminder: this article has spoilers, so read at your own risk. Be sure to check out the slideshow for more quotes from the episode. “Suits” airs Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. central on USA.
Mike is back at work at Pearson Specter, and he’s got a great new office with Junior Associate written on the door. Donna briefly addressing the differences from Mike’s old job – he will be taking work from other firm partners. This could turn out to be a lot of fun, and it could be a way for the writers to introduce other higher ups at the firm. Of course in this episode, Mike ends up doing something for Harvey. Hopefully the next episode mixes some things up a bit. It wouldn't be too exciting if the episodes started to feel like the ones from before Mike left the firm.
Katrina and Louis are a great team. It’s been great to see Louis have someone to run to whenever things get back. Before Katrina, Louis was on his own. Katrina is Louis’ Mike Ross. The two of them work out their issues whenever Louis is in a bad way. Now all that needs to happen is Katrina needs to be in a bad situation, and Louis helps her out. There is a lot of potential with their partnership, and the writers should explore it more. Do you love Louis and Katrina?
Thankfully, Mike notices how strange Louis is behaving. It would have been annoying if this boy genius did not pick up on the fact that Louis has been very off recently. Before Mike pieces together all of this, the back and forth as to whether or not Louis was in trouble was getting annoying. Since there actually is a payoff, the roller coaster ride is excusable. Did anyone else notice the romantic comedy vibe when Louis and Harvey each went to the other’s office? Alright, poll time: if you had to choose, should Louis use the forged document or frame Harvey?
Checking in with the romance, Rachel is struggling with giving Mike space. There struggles could have been stretched out a bit more. Rachel seems to get jealous of Mike and Katrina’s super awkward hug, but that never really goes anywhere. It would have been interesting to see a conversation between Rachel and Katrina, such as Katrina commenting on the good news that Mike is back, not really aware of the fact that Rachel and Mike are going through something. Are you happy Rachel and Mike are back together?
