Stuft: Still the best burgers in Fort Collins

As it nears its third anniversary, Stuft: A Burger Bar in Old Town remains the top choice.

Using fresh and tender beef, Stuft offers a wide array of delicious toppings and sauces. The endless choices for new burger creations make this a place to visit again and again.

There’s a lot of fun to be had in naming a unique burger. For those who want to try someone else’s invention, there is always a list of great ones, as well as a burger of the month created by a customer.

The Early Bird, January’s Burger of the Month, was designed by Jordan W. of Colorado Springs. The burger includes 1/3 lb. ground chuck, American cheese, shaved ham and fried egg.

The sweet potato and regular fries are prepared just right at Stuft. If there’s room for dessert, the shakes are exquisite.

This chic downtown burger bar also offers options regarding atmosphere. When the weather permits, the patio allows a great view of the heart of Old Town with its echoes of big-city life, though without the noise and garbage. Inside, high-paneled booths offer a more secluded feeling. The bar area in the center of the restaurant is lively and enjoyable.

Stuft has a friendly and attentive wait staff and reasonable prices.

When Stuft opened in 2010, Fort Collins Downtown Examiner Candace Moore wrote, “The burgers are simply out of this world.” As the burger bar comes up on its third year, this is as true as ever.

Stuft offers first-rate burgers and fries and delectable desserts, as well as a classy atmosphere that can strike different moods.
