If you are seeking a no-nonsense, no holds bar motivational self-help book then look no further than; Stop Your F#cking Whining and Do the Damn Thing by Kevin Jiggetts. His blunt language and approach is not for the faint of heart, but it gets to the core of what stops many individuals from achieving their best life, fear.

The book is divided into two sections: The Part (Stop Your F#cking Whining) and The Other Part (And Do the Damn Thing). Each section begins with a date and as the book continues you soon realize that each date coincides with an entry from the author’s book of life. Each section walks the reader through excuses, original idea, self-esteem and self-worth, family and friends, fear, the God Factor, baby steps, and the power of words. And these are just a few of the steps meant to help one to stop whining and get it done.

The author is a recent graduate of Grantham University, a native of Washington DC, a decorated United States Marine Veteran, former Corrections Officer, and has more than 20-years experience as an actor on TV, film and theatre.

Aspects of the book are repetitive, but even that strengthens the purpose because the content is meant for those who continue to make the same excuses and fears keep them from their best selves.

This book comes with a four star recommendation and a warning that if explicit, blunt, and honest language scares you then this may not be the book for you. And that only proves once again what Kevin Jiggetts says, “Grow a pair and let’s commit to a better life.”
