Broadway Global's exclusive review on Stephen Cole's musical Inventing Mary Martin. This new "revue of a lifetime" is about a not to old Broadway legend. Inventing Mary Martin is somewhat a musical revue tribute that has theatre lovers flying to get tickets. The support for the new musical may have come from the most recent patrons. Mr. Cole had a wonderful visit from Mary Martin's daughter Heller Halliday, (Heller, in a letter to Cole, wrote of having "such a joyous time that I will never forget and still makes me smile! It was fabulous and I know Mom is still in awe and smiling." Mary's grandchildren Preston and Kristina Hagman (Larry Hagman's kids), Matt Weir, Geoffrey and Devon DeMerritt (Heller's kids) and several of Mary's great grandchildren posed for pictures with the shining cast. "Inventing Mary Martin" just by the reactions of packed houses, must have Mary smiling down upon this glorious new musical, that shares Martin's effervescent essence.

Inventing Mary Martin stars Broadway's finest Cameron Adams (Nice Work If You Can Get It), Jason Graae (Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect up?), Lynne Halliday (My Heart Belongs to Mary) and Tony Award nominated Emily Skinner (Side Show). Skinner's voice shines like a glowing moon, amongst the entire talented galaxy of Broadway stars.

Sometimes critics words for such stars as Jason Graae just don't match up to a delightful description by Emmy Award winning casting director Jeff Greenberg (Modern Family), " Jason Graae is one of the most talented guys I know. The blend of that golden voice with his flawless sense of comedy makes him a truly remarkable performer." Amen, Jeff Greenberg Broadway Global agrees!
