"Start Spreading the News..." the Richness of Randy Fuhrman Events

It was a night to remember and savor forever, a 'Big Apple' celebration, in all its glory, celebrating the combined birthdays of celebrating hosts David and Carol Bienstock, presented so tastefully and artistically by Randy Fuhrman Events, a well known and longstanding event and party planning company based in Los Angeles.

The setting, at the majestic and historic Bookbindery in Culver City, was the perfect backdrop for this party, a true Horatio Alger story, for a couple with roots in tough yet nostalgic NYC, and now thriving in the city of Angels, Los Angeles. A dream come true...from Jersey Boys to Beach Boys. The party took celebrating to a whole new level, bringing a group of David and Carol's closest friends, family, and colleagues to 'New York, New York, the wonderful town," of Central Park, the CopaCabana, Chinatown, and Coney Island. It was a schmaltzy, sentimental, and perfect setting for this birthday celebration- extolling and glorifying all that this city has to offer, replete with subways, taxicabs, and hotdogs.

At first, the guests entered the cocktail reception, set up with the old time art deco glamour, combined with the new nightclub lounge glitz of the classic Copa Cabana club. Guests were entertained by the angelic musicians, "The String Angels," who stirred the souls of all in attendance. At the sound of a blaring siren, guests where then whisked swiftly through a loud subway tunnel, adorned with Broadway theatre posters, to the hustle and bustle, almost whimsical NY street scene atmosphere, an extravaganza of culinary and sensory delights.

A nostalgic, well thought out, and organized party, by the very capable event team, led by Randy Fuhrman, party planner extraordinaire, was enjoyed by all, as guests first sampled hors-d'oerves and appetizers, such as Red Pepper Shallot Tarte Tatins; Peking Duck Rolls; Roasted Tomato Soup Shooters; and Coconut Shrimp with Mango; along with appetite whetting CopaCabana Cocktails. Delectable offerings from Mrs. Wu's Chinese Food (Fried Rice; Kung Pao Chicken; and Noodle/Ramen Bar, along with Vinnie's Pizzeria, featuring hand thrown pizza, with choice of toppings; and a Dolce cart of Cannoli and Panna Cotta; along with David and Carol's Famous Deli, with Mini-Reubens; Brisket of Beef; and Potato Latkes were among the multitude of choices. It was a birthday celebration to remember and savor, with floral centerpieces of white tulips and red carnations, romantic Chianti bottles and colorful dripping candles; each and every creative decoration a labor of love and passion, and apropos of the evening's theme. The whole event, resplendent with fun and an element of surprise, culminated with a captivating performance by a band called "Walk Like A Man, " reminiscent of The Jersey Boys and The Four Seasons. Following this music, the guests were treated to a bite out of a Red Velvet Big Apple birthday cake.

Randy Fuhrman events have perfected the art of entertaining, with taste and tact, bringing the love and passion for rich food and good company for all to enjoy.
