Khan (Ricardo Montalban) is back and he is on the warpath. What's funny is that it wasn't by accident we would ever have seen him again. You scientists are trying to bring a dead planet back to life through a device called Genesis. Carol (Bibi Besch) and her son David (Merritt Butrick) are scientists who are in charge of the project.
Chekov (Walter Koenig) was aboard a vessel that was in search of a dead planet. They thought they had found one but instead they found Kahn. Kahn takes over the ship and when he finds out about Genesis he wants to have it.
The federation sends the U.S.S. Enterprise and it's crew to stop him. The Enterprise crew consists of Admiral Kirk (William Shatner), Science Officer Spock (Leornard Nimoy) , Dr. McCoy (DeForest Kelley), Chief Engineer Scott (James Doohan), Lts. Sulu and Uhura (George Takei and Nichelle Nichols).
Kirk and Kahn have battled before and Kahn has a big chip on his soldier when it comes to Kirk. This movie is written with a human touch to it. You find out more about Kirk than you ever have before. The ending has to be the best in all the Star Trek television series or movies.
Director Nicholas Meyer does an extremely excellent job in what has to be the best Star Trek movie of all time. It is very hard to believe that any Trekkie would ever disagree. If you have never seen this movie it needs to be seen.
