Have you ever wanted to read something that was both somewhat twisted and beautiful in its macabre fashion?
Benjamin Kane Ethridge, invites you to enter his "Bottled Abyss." A previous Bram Stoker Award Winner, Horror Writer's Association member, Ethridge offers something so special with Bottled Abyss that it was nominated for Superior Achievement in a Novel at the 2012 Bram Stoker Awards.
The scene is set by a couple who have given up on everything and suffering serious depression. The only thing Herman has left is his dog. It goes missing and even his wife is somewhat disturbed by what could very well be another tragedy. The dog is in terrible shape when he is found and a random stranger Herman meets seems to have a mysterious elixir that not only cures the dog but at least temporarily heals Herman and his wife. He doesn’t realize he has stumbled upon a portal and set forth events that he could not fathom happening in this world or the next….
Etheridge does not stop from page one to draw the reader into the tale. Intermixed with Greek Mythology Bottled Abyss is a book for a lazy rainy Sunday because once you start you are not going to want to put it down.
