The Stadium Pub - Walnut Creek's Oldest Sports Bar

Football season is here, and you all know what that means! Bar-b-ques, get togethers with friends, drinks, and also, for those so inclined, visits to the local sports bars to watch the games.

In Walnut Creek, there are plenty of options. One of my favorite places thus far to go to is reviewed below.

Welcome to the Stadium Pub - located at 1420 Lincoln Avenue, Walnut Creek, CA.

This family friendly bar boasts the following features:

  • 47 T.V. Screens
  • 3 Big Screen Projectors
  • Outdoor Seating
  • Full Menu
  • Full Bar Licensed
  • 23 Draught Beers
  • Great Belgian Beers!

They are open 7 days a week, which should please any sports fan! The hours are as follows:

Monday - Thursday: 11am - 11pm

Friday - Saturday: 9am - 1am

Sunday: 9am - 9pm

Their food menu is pretty good, considering it's a pub. Besides the traditional staples you would find at a pub, like fish & chips, burgers & fries, etc, you can find other selections of a different variety. For example, they have some of the best tasting ribs I've had at a pub! If you are hungry and don't mind the mess of bar-b-que sauce, get these ribs, as they seriously are tender and tasty!

The atmosphere isn't horribly loud, other than when people are cheering (or booing) the results of their particular teams, but with seating at the bar, around it, but also outside, you have plenty of options to enjoy a game, good food, and some decent company among friends.

So check out the Stadium Pub this season and see what you think of it!
