So Delicious keeps coming out with new products to make it easy to be dairy free.
Whether you're vegan, lactose intolerant, allergic to milk or just seek out healthy coconut milk products for their own health merits, So Delicious offers delicious options for all natural, non-dairy products.
The company has recently released two new products -- organic coconut milk novelty bars and unsweetened cultured coconut milk.
So Delicious describes their new products:
- So Delicious® Dairy Free Organic Coconut Milk Frozen Dessert Mini Novelty Bars. Available in three indulgent flavors - Simply Strawberry, Just Java, and Fudge - these yummy treats have only 80 calories per serving and they are all USDA Certified Organic and Certified Gluten Free. They feature a new plant-based, bio-plastic stick that is “lickable” and compostable for a better taste and less waste.
- So Delicious® Dairy Free Cultured Coconut Milk products are now available in unsweetened and unsweetened vanilla. They have only 1 gram of sugar per serving, which is naturally occurring from the coconuts and, like all of our products, they are made with organic coconuts and are always Non-GMO Project Verified. Enjoy the new flavors alone, top them with fruit, or try them in your favorite recipes that call for “yogurt” or “sour cream”!
Our family had the opportunity to sample all there flavors of the new dessert bars (strawberry, fudge and java) and loved them all. They're creamy, full of just the right amount of real flavor, and very filling for something that's only 80 calories and labeled a "mini."
All three flavors were a hit with myself and my three dairy-free testers (ages two, six and fifteen). Even the java flavor was a hit with all three kids, and strawberry and fudge were equally well loved.
As a parent, I love that the bars are so healthy. They are organic, all natural, non-GMO, allergy friendly (free of dairy, gluten, soy, peanuts, corn and other top allergens), naturally low in calories and naturally packed with flavor. I even love the "lickable," plant based stick (and my teen agreed it was much nicer to lick than the standard wooden type).
My kids just loved the taste!
We also enjoyed the cultured coconut milk yogurts. The new unsweetened 16 ounce products come in plain and vanilla. My kids aren't fans of any unsweetened yogurt but they loved them in homemade fruit smoothies and my six year-old loved the vanilla one with some cherry-vanilla NuNaturals stevia and sliced bananas stirred in. I liked them with some fruit, walnuts and a bit of honey. They're also perfect for my non-dairy baking, since they can be used as substitutes for either yogurt or sour cream in recipes.
So Delicious also carries a complete line of sweetened flavored cultured coconut milk with varieties such as strawberry banana, pina colada, chocolate and others, along with their Greek cultured coconut milk flavors such as blueberry, vanilla and chocolate. They also already carry other delicious dairy-free frozen desserts, along with the non-dairy milks and creamers they are so famous for.
Visit the So Delicious web site for more information about the company's full line of products, along with nutritional information and more. You can register at the So Delicious web site to receive coupons by email and also ask your local store to carry the So Delicious products on their online form, too.
I highly recommend all of the So Delicious products, and these new ones fit well with the brand. The frozen dessert bars in particular were huge hits here. It's nice to find a new guilty pleasure that you don't have to feel guilty for!
