Snowmen is the tender story of 10-year-old cancer victim, Billy, and his two friends who go on a quest for significance after stumbling on a dead man in the snow.
Spurred by Billy’s obsession to leave a legacy after his death—which, he’s convinced, is imminent—the three boys try to rally peers to help them break a world record building a record number of snowmen. But their adventure hits blockades as bullies and unbelievers mess with the plan.
Just when it looks as if the dream is a no-go and things couldn’t get worse, they do. Tragedy strikes and, against all odds, becomes catalyst to several miracles—not the least of which is the transformation of lives, and the creation of newfound friendships.
Snowmen upholds family values and is great entertainment for any age. Kids will especially love it and take away a meaningful message encouraging them to make their lives count.
The Snowmen DVD has been used to complement end-of-year non-profit fundraising efforts, as purposed by the Movie to Movement and the Human Rights Education & Relief Organization (H.E.R.O.). No wonder. It’s a delightful movie.
