Got acorns?
That's the goal of Educational Insight's The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel game.
Using a spinner, players try to collect one acorn in every color using a nifty squirrel-shaped tweezer. The game gets sneaky - and exciting - when players land on a part of the spinner that allows them to steal acorns from other players. The spinner's other sections include losing a turn, losing all acorns, and the opportunity to grab one or two acorns of any color. The unpredictability nature of the spinner can provide a lengthy, challenging game for players.
The game promotes strategy, matching, and sorting skills. In addition, eye-hand coordination is strengthened through the use of the squirrel tweezers, which are used to place acorns in each player's log.
The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel game does not require any reading, making it a fairly easy game for pre-readers to follow and understand.
While the game is recommended for children ages three and up, Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel is sure to delight players of all ages.
The recipient of the 2011 Parents Choice Award, The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel game has also won the 2011 Dr. Toy Best Picks Award.
The Sneaky, Snacky Squirrel game is available throughout the Chicagoland area in such stores as Toys "R" Us, Building Blocks, and Galt Toys.
