A wine experience on a beer budget - that is what Skinny's in NoHo offers all music fans. With Go Go dancers, killer bands, a bar with great prices and priceless service, could you ask for more? Thanks to the one and only Skum Love, Rat and Crew, nights like this do exist. You can have all this for 5 bucks. You heard me right, that is all this will set you back. You get to rock to the bands, mingle with them after their set and as an added bonus jump on stage with them to Rock and Roll Karaoke. I have experienced Skinny's first hand and I promise it is everything I say and more. This past Wednesday (April 29), I got to see Skinmask explode on stage at Skinnys. I had heard about them from a friend in the music business. He had introduced us at NAMM and I had yet to see them play on stage. So, when I found out they were hitting Skinnys how could I not go? Everything my friend told me was right on, Skinmask is amazing and a must see. They came out strong playing “hit after hit.” They gave a metal-gasm performance. Skinmask is tribal meets metal, rock, industrial experience. They truly have captured a sound that will make you move your ass whether you want to or not. Is all I can say is, go see them and experience them for yourself. Check them out on all the media haunts, they have tons of shows coming up. You need to get to one now! I just said it but it deserves to be said again. Support Skinny's Lounge! It is truly an intimate, magical, music experience. You can go there let loose, unwind, and support a venue that needs to be here. Make sure to tell all your friends about Skinny's! It all goes down every Wednesday night. You can pick up a drink, hop on the mic, and have the time of your life!
