Simply the friendliest meal in Maine

Simple Simon's is a cozy breakfast, lunch and pizza nook on the main thoroughfare of Main Street in South Portland. I opted for an English muffin style breakfast sandwich with a fried egg and cheese melted together just right. On my second visit I chose scrambled (cooked to order) served on the side with crispy bacon, buttery Texas toast and New England homefries, which were the perfect consistency. The potatoes were flavorful and firm.

Portions are generous, the food is simply done right.

The oatmeal was served in a crystal bowl with fresh blueberries that popped in my mouth and exploded with juice - evidently they were not frozen beforehand. ( Always a good choice.)

All orders are taken promptly with exceptionally friendly service and the wait time turnaround borders on remarkable, always under ten minutes for three orders.
