Signals by HubSpot

Signals by HubSpot is an extension for the Chrome browser that notifies users of their sent email activity. This handy extension works with Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail. Available connections include Salesforce, HubSpot, and Zapier.

How it works

After installing the extension and registering, users will then see the Signals button in their Chrome extension toolbar. Notification counts appear on the button and the pop-out shows the activity. There is also an on-screen, pop-up notification box.

To track, users simply click the checkbox for Signals on the email client toolbar or within the compose email window, depending the email client being used.

Activities include opens and clicks from the email. Users can see the date and time their email was opened by the recipient as well as all links within the email that were clicked.

Pricing plans

The extension offers free and paid options. The free version normally allows for 200 notifications per month while the paid version allows unlimited notifications. The paid version is $10 per month with no contract. There is also an all-in-one sales package (pricing unavailable).

Basic reports include Open Rate, Click Rate, and Emails Tracked. Reports are downloadable as images or .pdf documents.

Support options include FAQs, a knowledge base, and contact form.

Signals by HubSpot is a simple yet great tool for those marketing via email who want quick activity statistics.
