Sunday night was a delightful combination of music, dance and art as Julie Lavender, along with other accomplished musicians from the area performed for a near capacity filled Lawrence Community Barn in Hollis, NH. The audience was treated to a wonderful blend of bubbly, soulful and eclectic jazz from the artist, who played music from her Siddur Project, a collection of songs based off of Jewish prayers. There was also dance incorporated into the performance and also a live artist who painted a beautiful picture as the concert progressed, drawing inspiration from the music. Members of The Child Advocacy Center were on hand to talk about the cause and how the proceeds would help child abuse and trafficking victims in the area.
