**Book received in return for an honest review**
I like Destiny's books. Whether they are under her name or under one of her other names, nobody writes short, hot and sweet like she does.
Lane Levermore has a huge problem. His brother is a gambler and can't seem to stop. In Vegas, that's definitely a problem. And now, Lane has to come up with a way to save his brother's life, while making sure he doesn't betray his team.
Not an easy task, in any way.
Donna Balfour is a sports reporter in Vegas. In a world dominated by men, she's made her mark and loves her job. But, like any good, honest reporter she's looking for the big story.
When Donna gets information about Lane's upcoming game, she wants to talk to him about it, but Lane's not cooperating, and in fact, walks away from her.
They've been dancing around each other for a while now, flirting, but never going further. Lane's problem brings them together and though they know what they want, they're both afraid to reach for it.
I really liked Lane and Donna. They have their issues, but together, they are dynamite. Hot and sweet, though the book was short, it was extremely satisfying and ended in a way that I loved. I'm all for the HEA and this one, had a great one.
Want to know how Lane solves his problem? Read "Covering The Spread" you will NOT be disappointed.
