Genie Francis is back on General Hospital. Laura is back and Ron Carlivati and Frank Valentini are genius's! They have made GH a contender again, using some of the best facets of General Hospital, One Life To Live and Port Charles. They have brought back the Diva of GH this wonderful actress who has been at the heart of GH for so many years. Half of the "Supercouple" Luke and Laura. Genie Francis is back and GH is better for it. Genie told EW “I don’t know what the story is,” she says. “I have no idea, but Frank is very persuasive, energetic, infectious and has a sense of fun, a positive-ness that makes you want to work for the guy. He assured me there was going to be nice stuff to play. I am choosing to believe him!”
Genie asked for one thing, that there be an explanation for why she was gone from Port Charles for so long. Laura has three kids: Lulu and Lucky with Luke Spencer, and Nikolas with Stavros Cassadine. “It’s not for me to tell them how to run their show. But my biggest concern was that there had to be a good reason for me to stay away from my family,” Francis says. She is back with a 'secret' and now we can speculate that maybe Scotty Baldwin, her ex husband, played by Kin Shriner who is also returning to the GH set where he resided in Port Charles in both GH and PC.
Kin Shriner commented on how long he has been with GH "‘My goal is to always keep playing Scotty, which I've now done in five different decades, which is crazy! He's been through so many incarnations, what with hundreds of writers, plus my own meddling. He's been a goodie and a baddie. Hey, when you're happily wed to a woman who runs off with her rapist, it'll tarnish you. I'm just wondering who else they can dig up for the 50th."
Well they already dug up the sexy secret agent,Frisco Jones, Jack Wagner's role for many years.He is back with an agenda, that being getting his ex-wife Felicia back which will also affect Mac Scorpio who is with Felicia now.
We have also heard from Jaclyn Zeman that she is finally reprising her role as Nurse Bobbie Spencer, an integral part of GH and Kelly's. She is Luke's sister and Carly Jax's mom. Carly is in great need of advice from her mother, especially since Jax left her and she has gone from one bed to another all for the wrong reason and at a terrible price.
We also know the Nurses Ball will be back and that is such a happy thing for 'Cartini' to bring back. It had always been so much fun and so entertaining and will be a glorious part of General Hospitals "50th" Anniversary.
Let's hope we see Tristan Rogers back along with Ingo Rademacher(my 2 favorite men on GH) and many more surpises. Also an entertaining vampire story that will turn out to be real or all Lucy;s imagination? Keep watching for this surprise also.
