Synopsis: Two African-American maids share their stories with Gwen Stacy to get back at the rich white honkies who have wronged them. Cue the melodrama. 

Pros: It's authentic, there are some great costumes and colors, it will make you hungry, the acting ensemble, Bryce Dallas Howard makes a terrific bitch, there are some decent dramatic and comedic moments

Cons: It touches upon a topic we have all seen a million times,  some of the editing doesn't gel, a few moments are forced, it doesn't take any visual risks

Bottom Line: It's a terrific vehicle for all the actresses involved, but that's about it.  

Now Playing: It's on DVD now, but might get a re-release because of Oscar.
