Demographic: Those still alive from 1927, indie film lovers, people who can do without dialogue for 100 minutes

Synopsis: A silent film star is pushed out of the spotlight when talkies become the next big thing. Need I say more without ruining the experience?

Pros: It has a bold style, it's charming, Berenice Bejo (looks), the cinematography, it's authentic, the acting, the score, 1932 shot, Freddy Rumsen makes a cameo
