Edwina loves to bake and has been baking since she was a little girl in San Diego. It is extremely light and moist with vanilla flavor bursting out. It reminded me of my childhood. In a Japanese household, desserts are made with rice flour. Oh, my! This cake will bring out the chocolaholic in anyone. The cake tastes like a chocolate truffle and reminded me of the chocolate truffles I made last Christmas with Johnny Walker. Chocolate and good liqueur always make a very nice pairing. The cake itself is very moist and the walnuts give it slight smoky, nutty flavor. This would pair well with an espresso, cappuccino, or if you dare, Cabernet Sauvignon or Port. Thumbs up, way up!
