Expo West 2014 is now a thing of the past, but Rudi's new gluten free bars are not a thing of the past, yet more of the present. Rudi's has recently launched their new gluten free cherry, almond bars.
This gluten free gal was lucky enough to taste test the new bars at Expo West in Anaheim, CA back in March. The bars are gluten and dairy free, so this gluten free gal is very happy. The bars are great for breakfast, or an energy boost before a run or workout.
In Los Angeles and around the country the bars can be found at Wholefoods markets. The great thing about the gluten free cherry and almond bars is that they are not super sweet, contain fiber and protein, unlike so many other bars on the market. The bars have minimal sugar and are not pre-packaged, which helps minimize the sugar content. If you are anything like this gluten free gal, you probably check the packaging quite often.
There are no additional additives or artificial flavors in the bars and they should be found in the refrigerated or freezer section of the store, most likely in the fridge case.
