Darius Rucker's recent release, "Wagon Wheel", has hit the mainstream media and is quickly gaining fans across the music world. The video that has gone viral features much of the cast of A&E's Duck Dynasty, offering an added edge to the song drenched in Southern character.
The song was originally written by Bob Dylan around 1973, and completed by Ketch Secor of the Old Crow Medicine Show who released the song in 2004. Rucker did not stray far from the Old Crow Medicine Show version, keeping true to the roots of a great song. The video is entertaining and the Duck Dynasty crew add a flair of comedy and southern charm like they always do.
"Wagon Wheel" is the first single off of Rucker's new album True Believers that is scheduled to be released on May 21st. This song and video are quickly becoming hits and Rucker and his production team have done a brilliant job with this latest hit.
