There are a number of dining options included when you book a cruise with Royal Caribbean International. The cruise line also offers signature restaurants that are not included, but are affordable and worth checking out. Onboard the Grandeur of the Seas there are three signature Royal Caribbean restaurants that, although not included in the price of the cruise ticket, offer excellent service, good quality food, generous portions, variety and are actually quite inexpensive.

Giovanni's Table is the Italian restaurant onboard the Grandeur of the Seas. Diners pay $20 per person and can order as much or as little as they want. Each person generally orders an appetizer, a pasta, an entree and a dessert. The pastas are served family style so everyone can share. However, there are no set rules. Order two pastas if you like and skip the appetizer and entree. Standouts on the menu include the ossobucco, the mushroom risotto and gnocchi in bleu cheese sauce. Click here to view a sample menu.

For fresh sushi and Asian-fusion cuisine Izumi is the place to try onboard. The sushi is excellent quality and there are many specialty rolls to choose from. If sushi isn't really your thing, there are plenty of other options like their famous "hot rock" items. Your choice of chicken, beef, or seafood is cooked at the table on a 575 degree hot rock and served with dipping sauces, vegetables and fried rice. For those that want to try both the sushi and some of the other menu items, Izumi offers packages, like their Ishayaki rock and roll package which comes with soup, your "hot rock" choice, a sushi roll and a dessert. And don't forget to order appetizers, some of which are complimentary, like the edamame and the miso soup.

Like Giovanni's Table, Chops Grille is $20 per person and diners can order anything they want off the menu. Chops is a classic steakhouse and offers all kinds of cuts of steaks, cooked to perfection, as well as a number of sides and vegetables, like their delicious goat cheese and basil souffle, cheese n onion soup, sauteed wild mushrooms, and mashed potatoes to name a few. And with items like red velvet cheese cake and chocolate tartes, dessert is not to be missed either. The menu is extensive and is subject to change.
