Andy: “Are you asking me to clean your office?”
Oliver: “I could order you to do it, but that seems a little shameless.”

Basically every storyline that was building up to a dramatic moment happens in this episode. It’s a wild ride that keeps the suspense coming, but it is a lot happening at once. Dov finally catches onto Chris’ drug use. The writers has basically set it up so that it’s obvious that Dov would be the first one to learn about it. What’s still unclear is why Chris missed work. Is it that he would rather be doing drugs or did he recognize that he was too high to work? Maybe now that Dov knows, the writers can start to explain why Chris has decided to turn to drugs.
Gail is very vulnerable in this episode because she has to go back to Holly for help. However, seeing as how much Gail tries to avoid Holly, the bit where Gail asks Holly out to apologize doesn't quite fit. Maybe if there was more of Izzy asking Gail about her relationship and if they are getting back together or not, it would have flowed a bit better. There hasn't really been much of Gail talking about Holly since the breakup. Do you want Gail and Holly to get back together?
Finally, Duncan and Andy’s legal issues appear in an episode again, in a huge way. There are so many great things about this. Oliver mentoring Andy and having one on one time with her is one of them. They have one of the best relationships on this show, and it is great to see Oliver take on this leadership and protective role. Even though he hates the white shirt, he takes the job so he can protect Andy. This is the perfect way to keep Oliver in the white shirt because he would not take it for any other reason than to protect his own.
This whole hearing showcases how big of a jerk Duncan is. He sets Andy up! It is hard to gauge what Duncan wants to happen. Maybe he hasn't really processed why he left Andy all alone in the house when she needed back up. Oliver says maybe someone put Duncan up to this, which would make sense. Duncan has to know that he isn't cut out for being a cop, but maybe he is under family pressure. There is potential to explore Duncan’s motivations, and it could be pretty entertaining. It will be interesting to see him back in the mix at 15. Do you think Duncan deserves his job back?
Oliver has a lot going on at work, and then Izzy shows up. Honestly, it’s surprising there isn't more aftermath from Gail’s comment where she basically says that Oliver doesn't want to spend time with Izzy. There should have been an apology. There even could have been a heartfelt conversation between Gail and Izzy where either Gail opens up about her family or Holly, or Izzy just talks about how things have been with her dad. That would have been great to watch. Oliver’s conversation with Izzy in the car is pretty fantastic, though. It’s been awhile since there’s been some Shaw family time.
