Reach Out Job Search Radio, a weekend political and job search featured podcast on the Blog Talk Radio network welcomed Associate Law Professor at Wayne State University and former Secretary of State candidate Jocelyn Benson on Saturday, November 5th, @ 11:00 AM.

Raised by two special education teachers in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania ,Ms. Benson has spent her career advocating for efficient and transparent government that puts people first.

As a law professor at Wayne State University Law School, she not only teaches Election law, Ms. Benson published the first major book on the role of the Secretary of State in enforcing election and campaign finance laws.

Benson's book, "State Secretaries of State: Guardians of the Democratic Process," highlights best practices of Secretaries on electoral reform from throughout the country. As a frequent commentator on voting rights and election law nationwide, we are honored to welcome Ms. Benson to ROJS-R, the weekend prior to Michigan's statewide elections.

On Sunday, November 6, 2011 @ 11:00 AM ROJS-R will welcomed back to the program Caitlin Sampson, Certified Professional Resume Writer and Co-Founder of Regal Resumes.

Ms. Sampson will lead the first of a four month series highlighting "How to Find Employment in the 21st Century".

The first part of the series focused on targeting ones job search list and what types of candidates today's employers are seeking.

Michigan and Nationwide job seekers were encouraged to submit questions for Ms. Sampson to be answered live during the program. The series which will air Sunday, November 6th, December 4th & January 8th, February 5th, 2012 @ 11:00 AM, presents a unique opportunity for candidates to receive inside knowledge of what decision makers are thinking prior to bring a new employee on staff.

Ms. Sampson will continue to answer question submitted by job seekers each series dates to receive a free Regal Resume Makeover and two hours of one-to-one counseling (valued at $499.99). Job seekers can submit their questions directly by email.

The second half of Sunday's podcast featured Cheryl Palmer, M.Ed., CECC, CPRW and the President of Call to Career, an Washington, D.C. based Executive Coaching Firm.

Call to Career that assists people in finding their niche or calling in life as well as finding new employment in a difficult economy. Before embarking on this business venture, Ms. Palmer served as the director of the Career Resource Center at the U.S. Department of Transportation as a contractor. 

The Center provided monthly career seminars as well as customized seminars for special groups, career development computer programs, a video learning laboratory, a career development library, and individual career assistance.

As a career expert with experience in career counseling, career coaching, outplacement, and resume writing, Ms. Palmer’s expertise has been featured on CNN, Fox Business News, The Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch and The Ladders.
