Another Rocky Patel produced cigar. This Indian Tabac Classic Teepee Torpedo makes it clear why Rocky Patel is in business and has remained so.
Note: Unlike most cigars reviewed here, this cigar was not purchased locally.
The roll: a bland looking torpedo rolled cigar. This stick carries few visible veins. This stick presents itself with a ‘classic’ cigar look; one that anyone’s grandparent may have smoked. The Indian Tabac label harkens back to the early days of Rocky Patel and finishes the stick nicely.

The light: the pre-light draw revealed an aged tobacco flavor with little else. The draw was near flawless. The initial draw revealed the expected aged tobacco wrapped in a leathery texture. This remained consistent throughout the smoke from start to finish with an occasional peppery note. The aroma from this stick proved to be very pleasant to the senses.
The burn: Overall the burn presented a consistent unevenness, but not so much that it would distract from the smoke. The ash held firm consistently inch-by-inch giving way then reestablishing itself. Using standard practice this cigar required more than the average amount of re-lights.
A cigar puffer would certainly enjoy this stick. However, one who enjoys savoring a cigar may find it to be a task to keep it lit.
At three bucks a stick the price is on par for a stick of this quality. Despite a burn issue this cigars flavor and aroma are its saving grace. This stick gives true validity to the belief that a good cigar doesn't have to cost a lot.
Smoke ‘em if ya got ‘em
