( -- May 4, 2014) Pevely, MO. -- The Brevé Coffee® shop and roasters in St. Louis are not what you would expect. This one owner business was the dream of Kevin Wiesehan, who fell in love with coffee in Seattle as he lived there experiencing the coffee boom in the 90’s. Since his job at Boeing Aircraft consumed 100 hours per week, Kevin quickly became a drive thru coffee junkie. That is when he began the dream of bringing this coffee experience back to his home in St. Louis, and actually began to implement this dream by leaving his job in Seattle in 1994.

On March 5, 1995 the Brevé Espresso Company® began in a small 300 square foot downtown building with a walk up window, making this St. Louis’ Espresso Bar the first, 7 years before Starbucks opened a shop in St. Louis.
