That’s right! The circus is coming to town and their newest show theme is DRAGONS! Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® presents DRAGONS is a once in a millennium event that brings together mystic dragon lore with authentic circus feats in honor of the Year of the Dragon. Ringling Bros.® Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson will be introducing the audience to an incredible array of performers from all around the world. You and your family are sure to be amazed by the Shaolin Kung Fu Warriors, charging Cossack riders, magnificent Asian elephants, Siberian tigers and the frenzied motorcycle Globe of Steel (my favorite!). We had the opportunity to see the show in Atlanta last week, and you do NOT want to miss it!
I haven’t been to a large circus production in years, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I did think that I would find it cute, but not overly entertaining, and that the evening would be more for the children to enjoy. Boy, was I wrong! I had a blast! I was in total awe of the beautiful costumes and amazing feats that were performed. There wasn’t a single point where I wasn’t on the edge of my seat. My favorite parts of the show were the horses and the motorcycles, but I really loved how they incorporated the dragon theme into everything.
All of my kids had a wonderful time and are still talking about all of the cool things they saw. With ages ranging from 4 to 12, there aren’t many events that we go to that really captivate everyone’s attention, but the circus definitely did not disappoint.
