The Pop Tag Company shares that you can replace your dog’s identification tags with this personalized bottle opener for $16. (That price includes stamping on the front side only.) They tell the consumer that “Man's best friend just got best-er!” The company also donates one-dollar from every sale to their local SPCA shelter.
If you have ever needed to open a bottle while out with your dog and couldn’t locate a bottle opener, the Pop Tag folks would like you to whistle in your dog and the opener will be right there on the collar.
The identification tags are made from stainless steel and each tag is custom stamped with your dog’s name, your phone number or almost anything else you would like the tag to say. There is a maximum of ten spaces per line and you may add up to four lines. The tag includes a small split ring for easy attachment to your dog’s collar and there is a removable silicone bumper that comes in four colors.
The bottle opener works well, but this tag should not be left on a collar that is on a dog playing with other dogs. The opening is about the right size that many dogs could get a tooth hooked into the space and not be able to get untangled. This is a fun concept, but would be better to put on your key chain than your dog’s collar.
