Review: Residence Inn in Santa Fe New Mexico for a great stay

When we went on vacation to Santa Fe, New Mexico, we wanted a great hotel but at an affordable price. We ended up finding the Residence Inn by Marriott and it was amazing! I could not have asked for a better hotel for our family.

We are military and have found out that Marriott always takes care of service members. Their normal rate for this hotel is $239 a night, but with a military discount we were able to stay for only $88. This was a great price for the room we got!

It was more like a suite than a room. It had a kitchen complete with dishes, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. They even left us a free bag of popcorn. It had a king size bed and also a fold down couch in the room. The room was clean and perfect. There was nothing wrong with it at all. One nice thing they offered was the option to have them pick up some groceries for you if you wanted to cook. There was a charge for this, but it would have been worth it if you were staying several days.

The hotel also offered an outdoor swimming pool and tennis court. You could borrow stuff to play tennis and we took advantage of both. They offered floaties and towels by the pool for the hotel guests. The swimming pool was heated. They didn't really have a gym though just a couple of pieces of equipment.

Breakfast was great and was more than just cold cereal. It had hashbrowns, eggs, and even make it yourself waffles. It was great since it was included with the room price.

I would highly recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott in Santa Fe. This is a great hotel and even better if you can get the military pricing.
