According to the biography section of his official website, Cody has five million Twitter followers and another five million fans on Facebook, as well as over 150 million views on his official YouTube channel; moreover, it reveals that he is a native of Queensland, Australia.
It opens with the title cut and it is followed by "Got Me Good" and "Be The One," both of which have a laid-back vibe to them.
"Hello" is a melodically stunning track, meanwhile "Tears on Your Pillow" is more upbeat.
My personal favorite track is "Wish U Were Here," his infectious duet with rapper Becky G. This tune is worthy of the repeat button on CD and mp3 players, especially since it is his best radio single to date. With this song, he inspires his audience to get up and dance along with him.
"I Love Girls" is a fun tune and "Back To You" is soothing yet refreshing.
It closes with the acoustic-driven "Gentleman," which showcases his gentle vocals.
Overall, Cody Simpson does a superb on his "Paradise" CD. It garners an A rating. His vocals on this debut album are as smooth as silk. It is a great introduction to his craft and artistry and equally remarkable is his follow-up album "Surfer's Paradise," which was released this past summer.
