The POP! Is simple. Built well and minimal in the right way. It uses dual materials but maintains a one piece design. It’s available in two colors and is not expensive, but definitely towards the top of its range considering included features. Case-mate clearly focuses on iProducts and who could blame them? The market is there, but Samsung and Android gain and gain. Luckily though, case-mate has recognized rising demand and allowed for a few Samsung models. Nowhere near as exciting as the designs and materials used for iPhone cases, but it’s nice to be included in some small way. Case-Mate is actually pushing the envelope of case design currently and releasing some amazing models featuring premium natural materials including many different wood finishes and even some utilizing real stone and shell. None of these find their way to the Note 2 at the moment unfortunately. The POP has a built in kickstand, very grippable sides, a thin profile, and that’s about it. You won’t be disappointed but you might not be wowed. Hopefully we see more unique materials used in Note 2 cases in the near future. This is a very durable case though and it offers a surprising amount of protection considering its small size.

Is it worth buying: Case-mate is a great maker, but you can get more for your money right now. Keep your eye on them for future releases though.
