(Review, Photos) Artistry Escape to Paradise Spring 2012: Cheek & Eye Quads

As I'm starting my love affair with all things Artistry --especially the new Spring 2012 Color Limited Edition Collection --it strikes me that everything pastel is a really, really good thing.

The new Cheek and Eye Quad from the Escape to Paradise collection features a mix of four shades that can be swirled around for your cheeks, as well as four individual eye shadow shades. Check out the slideshow for pictures.

What I love about these are the packaging, for starters. Artistry doesn't do anything half baked, and what you get are beautiful faux leather and silver outer shell that comes in a gorgeous velvet pouch complete with cheek and eyeshadow brushes.

The eye shadows glide on and stay put very well. For this photo, I used the Quad in Fresh Radiance ($73.50), which contains:

  • Eye shadows in Antique, Drift, Seafoam and Shell
  • Cheek colors

The Seafoam and Shell (lilac) are great colors to use for spring, as I've done on my eyes. Simply use the base (Antique) all over your lids including up to your brow bone, and use the other two on the inner corners of your eyes and apply a nice thick black liner for an easy effortless resort look.

There's another Quad in the Escape to Paradise collection: the Golden Glow. This quad gives you more pinkish hues on both cheeks and eyes.

I would be remiss if I didn't talke about the Lip Gloss Duo Compact ($58.50) which also comes beautifully packaged in a silver shell (with cute keychain) and velvet pouch. In the photo, I'm wearing Radiant Pink and Coral Shimmer, layered one on top of each other. There's another duo in Pacific Orchid.

Both the glosses I tried are impressively hydrating. Get yours quickly!

These are limited edition and available from your Artistry rep.
