I opened the bag and got a whiff of pumpkin and I was excited to dive in. The cookie was soft and practically split in half when I picked it up, and I took a very tiny bite. So far, not bad, the pumpkin part was pretty good. My next bite was going to consist of the cheesecake flavored drops, and sadly, I was not impressed. Not only did the cheesecake drops not have any cheesecake flavor, but they were so overwhelmingly sweet I would have gotten the same flavor by sticking my tongue in a sugar bowl. You're welcome for the image.
The Pepperidge Farm Limited Edition Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies get points for the softness and the pumpkin flavor of the cookie, but it all goes downhill when you hit the cheesecake drops. Considering they're supposed to be pumpkin cheesecake flavored cookies and not simply just pumpkin (combined with the excessive sweetness), I won't be buying them again. Should you decide to try them, they're $3.49 a bag and there are 8 cookies total.
