The Bauer Vapor X:30 skate is the perfect intermediate skater which provides both the proper support as well as a price point that won't break the wallet.

The features of this skate include:

  • Sublimated silver tech-nylon quater package with the signature Thermoformed X-rib pattern.
  • Hydrophobic Microfiber Liner
  • Patented Integrated, anatomical heel/ankle support
  • Insta-form foam ankle pads
  • Anatomical, 2-piece, 40-oz felt with metatarsal guard
  • Superfit footbed with stabilizer grip
  • Tuuk Lightspeed 2 with super stainless steel runner

Although the X:30 is an obvious step down from the X:50 or even the X40 model, X:30 is the perfect skate for the weekend warrior.

The quarter package provides excellent combination of stiffness and flexibility. Even if you play two to three days a week, the quarter package will provide great support for years to come.

The X:30 provides a step up from your basic liner with the quick-drying hydrophobic microfiber liner. The insta-form ankle pads once baked, fit like a glove, and the metatarsal guard provides excellent support in keeping your laces from digging into your feet.

Overall, if you're an intermediate skilled player who gets out on the ice at least once a week, you can't go wrong with the Bauer Vapor X:30 and wth the price dropping quickly with the introduction of Bauer's new Flexlite skates the hardest part will may be actually finding these skates.
