The Story.
From the makers of "Coraline", comes ParaNorman. A play on words and the name of the main character, Norman- a young boy who can see ghosts. He is not popular at school at all, and is labeled Freak on his locker most days. He sees his dead grandmother daily but his parents and sister don’t believe him so it is safe to say he is an outcast at home and outside.
Then comes the school play where the students have to re-enact the witch trial and the hanging of local witches. Norman has a serious vision during the rehearsal; leading him to the fight of his life.
The Message.
ParaNorman is a special movie. Special effects. Special characters to love. And a special message about hope, forgiveness and the effects of bullying. Many should catch many themes behind this wonderful family film. Norman is not an average kid, but he is different- unique. The students treated him differently- and unfortunately they ruled out his uniqueness. There will come a time when all differences must be cast aside and everyone come together to fight for one another.
This movie will be easy to enjoy with hilarious moments and of course everyone’s new favorite…zombies.
