I was recently contacted by a representative for Goliath Games, makers of the Doggie Doo game, to see if I would like to review the Doggie Doo game. This game was recently released in the USA although it has been available overseas for a while.
When the game arrived, my 5 year old could hardly wait to play it. Every day it was "Can we play the Doggie Doo game?"
Just like the name says, this game is all about getting the pooch (a "weiner" dog) to poo. You feed the doggie and then take turns “walking” him with shovel in hand. Scoop up three #2s and you’ll be number one!
The game is for 2 to 4 players, ages 3 and older. My 5 year old is the perfect age for this. She learned all the rules with Daddy and taught them to me when I played the game with her.
Doggie Doo should be played in an area where you can cut out the doggie biscuits without making a mess, as the "biscuits" are cut from a blob of silly dough type of material. My daughter couldn't make the biscuits herself and needed help.
When you squeeze the doggie's leash, the air propels out the "doo". It makes some interesting sound effects, if you know what I mean. Which makes the game all the much more fun!
The Doggie Doo game retails for about $29.99 but you may find it for less on online retailer websites. This game would be a fun birthday or Christmas present for kids aged about 4 to 8.

Disclaimer: I received a free sample of the Doggie Doo game in exchange for my review. I was not compensated in any other way. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion here is my own.
