The General Mills cereal brand, Fiber One®, launched a new granola cereal called, Fiber One® Protein. The new cereal has the same great taste of Fiber One®, but has added protein.

Available in two flavors:

Maple Brown Sugar – The taste of maple brown sugar with delicious sweetened granola and crunchy pecans

Cranberry Almond – A tasty mix of crunchy almonds, sweetened cranberry pieces and sweetened granola

Benefits: Each serving of Fiber One Protein has 10 grams of protein when served with milk, as well as 20 percent of the daily value of fiber.

"With the launch of Fiber One Protein, we’re excited to offer a wholesome combination of protein and fiber that provides a smart and satisfying breakfast choice for those looking to increase protein in their diet," said Jim Wilson, Marketing Manager, Fiber One.

Review: Both cereals tasted great; however, my favorite was Cranberry Almond. The combination was satisfying! It was crunchy but mild in flavor and not too heavy on my stomach. It tasted wonderful with the combination of almond milk. I felt energized, and I didn’t have a lethargic feeling that you can have when you don’t get enough protein and fiber.

Fiber One Protein is available at major grocery stores nationwide.
